Function

Indolebutyric acid potassium is a growth regulator for rooting plants.

The plant is induced to form adventitious roots, which are transmitted to the plant body by leaf spraying and root dipping, and concentrated at the growing point, to promote cell division and to form adventitious roots, which are shown as multiple roots, straight roots, thick roots and hairy roots.

It is soluble in water and has higher activity than indoleacetic acid. It will decompose slowly under strong light. It is stored under sunshade condition and its molecular structure is stable.

Usage Method

1. Impregnation method: according to the different conditions of difficult and easy rooting of the cuttings, the base of the interpolation was soaked with 50-300ppm for 6-24 hours

2. Quick dip method: 500-1000 PPM was used for 5-8 seconds at the base of the interpolation, according to the different conditions of difficult and easy rooting.

3. Dipping powder method: mix the potassium indolebutyric acid with talcum powder and other auxiliary agents, soak the base of the cuttings, dip in the powder and cutting.
